Perkembangan kebun binatang sebagai tempat hiburan merupakan sebuah fenomena yang sangat menarik untuk diperhatikan. Kebun Binatang Surabaya adalah sebuah tempat wisata kebanggaan kota Surabaya. Keberadaan Kebun Binatang ini sudah sejak tahun 1970, yang terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Nyaris keberadaan KBS kurang disadari oleh warga kota Surabaya, karena kondisi fisik yg ada di dalamnya, tidak terawat. Potensi KBS yang ada saat ini dapat menjadi evaluasi untuk dapat ditingkatkan kwalitasnya menjadi bagian pembentuk runag kota. Melalui penelusuran evaluasi Kebun Binatang Surabaya dengan Peta Hijau dan memposisikan KBS sebagai ruang public kota, diharapkan KBS dapat menjadi sebuah tempat rekreasi edukatif yang berkelanjutan. Nowadays, green purchasing, stop global warming, love the mother earth, and others that related to environment become hot issues. Manufactures industries tend to more active and responsive to those issues by adopting green strategies or program like Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing (ECM). In this article, an electronic company had applied 12 ECM Program and tries to choose one of those programs using 6 criteria, such as total cost involved, quality, recyclable material, process waste reduction, packaging waste reduction, and regulation compliance. By using multi-criteria decision making model, i.e. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Modified TOPSIS methods, the ECM Program 9 (Open pit) is the best option.

Nowadays, environmental damages become hardly to be solved. It happened by many factors like lack of information about green products, human lifestyle that unaware or even dont care about the environment, and there still paradigms that green product or green consumerism aligned with high cost. This study shows that students have sufficient knowledge related to green products. Green behavior of students is tends to improve by start from a simple things in their daily activities. In other hands, whenever decide to buy products; not all those students aware with green products in order to make them adopt green lifestyle. The students with high financial capability are more aware buy green products than others.

Pelestarian benteng Wolio berada dalam upaya Pelestarian, Pengembangan dan Pemanfaatan Bangunan cagar Budaya (BCB) di skala Nasional. Paper ini merupakan sebuah usulan pemanfaatan kawasan benteng Wolio dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa hal. Beberapa hal yang menjadi patokan adalah: 1. Kondisi lingkungan p. Buton yang sudah berkembang (salah satunya adalah wisata bawah laut Waikatobe) 2. Lokasi Benteng yang hanya berjarak 3 km dari pantai yang indah 3. Fisik Benteng yang masih memperlihatkan keunikan dan kemegahan kerajaan Buton sebagai pusaka benda 4. Kehidupan masyarakat dengan desa adatnya sebagai pusaka tak benda. Dengan melihat kemungkinan potensi potensi tersebut, maka usulan pengembangan dibuat dengan mempertahankan pusaka benda dan tak benda masyarakat buton yang memiliki sejarah yang sangat unik dan memiliki nilai penting dan tinggi, dengan membangkitkan kembali peranan istana buton sebagai generator budaya.

Along with the development of computer technology in networking system, more and more organizations use e-learning system as a tool for learning and performance development. Smaller organizations face the challenge of not being able to afford their own in-house employee development programs and most rely on other organizations to enhance learning and performance improvement. Online delivered e-learning programs to their workplaces can significantly reduce the time these employees have to be away from these organizations, without sacrifices the effectiveness of the learning experience. This paper will have some overview of how a small organization in Blitar, East Java-Indonesia implements development employability skills of learning, self management, planning and organizing, problem solving, communication, teamwork, initiative and enterprise and use of technology, by involving e-learning.
